Summer RASP

** 2025 Summer Registration is NOW OPEN **
The RASP program is 65% educational, even in the summer. We provide the students with a snack & milk (or juice) each day; however, we do NOT provide lunch (parents must provide a cold, nut-free lunch). We have field trip sign-ups that are first-come, first-serve. We also have different guests, such as the Big Sticks players, visit the students each summer! In addition, we host many of our own activites, such as a Talent Show, Track Meet, and Spelling Bee.
Summer RASP is open to students going into grades 1-6 (*Students must have a full year of Kindergarten to attend the summer program). You will need the following for registration—both parent names, emails, phone numbers, employer's phone number, and payment information.

- Monday, June 2rd - Friday, August 8th
- Closed July 3rd & 4th
- Daily Hours: 7:30 AM-5:30 PM
- Location: Berg Elementary - 307 3rd Ave West
**Please note: ALL McKinney Vento students will need to email Dakota Olson at dakotaolson@dpsnd.org after completing registration forms.
- First: Fill out the appropriate registration form (there is one for returning families, which is anyone who has attended RASP before, and one for brand new families -- the links will be here during registration). Make sure to add both parents! Only parents receive the ProCare app and notifications/messages.

Second: Once you receive your invoice on Procare (DO NOT make payment before May 1st), please make your payment. Reminder: Payment methods are ACH, Debit, and Credit Card on ProCare or check or cash in person.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING SUMMER RASP PRICES
Due to recent changes within the Federal Government and the Department of Education, we have been informed by the state that the 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant, which previously helped subsidize our RASP program and reduce costs for families, may no longer be available to support RASP.
As a result, the summer RASP program must now be fully supported through parent fees, and we must increase our summer prices. We know this increase will impact our families, and we sincerely apologize for any hardship it may cause you.
Please contact us if you need to make a payment arrangement and/or have any questions regarding this price increase.

The payment schedule is as follows:- June - due by May 15
- July - due by June 25
- August - due by July 25 (August rates are prorated since we are only open August 1st - August 8th)
- If you'd like to pay for all summer at once, you can. You can look at the All Summer column of the Summer Pricing chart or reach out to the RASP Office.
- You must have qualified for free or reduced lunch rates to pay those reduced rates for Summer Program (you must also email a copy of your verification from Central Office to Dakota at dakotaolson@dpsnd.org)
- For the DPS rate, you must be working during the summer months to receive the discount
- McKinney Vento and Foster Care students must email dakotaolson@dpsnd.org after completing registration forms

RASP payments are made via Procare (under Billing) or via check or cash in person. If you have questions, please email dakotaolson@dpsnd.org. Procare accepts the following payment methods: ACH, debit, & credit card. Please note: both debit & credit cards do have additional fees. Checks or cash are also allowed.
