About Our Program

The Regional After School Program provides safe, engaging after-school care and academic enrichment for K-5 students in Dickinson Public Schools. RASP is partially funded through the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Grant, a federal program from the U.S. Department of Education administered by the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction.

Students receive:

  • Homework help
  • Educational enrichment activities
  • Snack
  • Supervised play
  • A safe place to learn and grow after school

The program supports families by providing affordable after-school care until 5:45 PM during the school year, along with summer programming that offers academic enrichment, hands-on activities, and opportunities for students to stay active and engaged during the summer months.

21st Century Community Learning Centers

Dickinson Public Schools is committed to making RASP accessible to families whenever possible. Through support from the 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant, financial assistance may be available for families who qualify.

Program enrollment is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached. Families who may need financial assistance are encouraged to contact the RASP office to learn more about available options.

Through this support, RASP expands learning beyond the school day and provides meaningful experiences that help students build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.
