Dickinson Public Schools offers optional bus transportation for our families who live within the Dickinson Public School District.
- Fill out the Bus Registration Form: 2022-2023 Bus Registration Form
- Return the completed form along with payment to: Central Office - 444 4th Street West, Dickinson – or you can email the form to chicks@dpsnd.org (registration form & payment must be received before busing can begin)
- On the Bus Registration Form, the fee structure is on the reverse side (2nd page) of the form. If you are registering after October, we do prorate the cost of Transportation. Please call our office to get the correct fee for busing: Christy Hicks 701-456-0002
- We accept Cash/Check/Credit Card. If you have an account with My School Bucks, you can also pay the bus fee through My School Bucks (a receipt would need to be forwarded to chicks@dpsnd.org for proof of payment.)
- New riders begin on Mondays (address change for riders would start on Monday as well) Please Note: The Deadline for Monday Start is the prior Wednesday at 12:00. (The deadline is subject to change based on holiday or special circumstances)
- Students must live within the DPS School District Boundaries.
- There is a No Bus Zone (Walk Zone) where the School Buses do not offer transportation. These zones are within walking distances to the school in that zone. Click here for the Walk-In Zone Boundaries Map.
To make a payment on MySchoolBucks:
- Login or create an account
- Click School Store
- Click Busing
On occasion, a child may need to ride the bus. If you need bus service temporarily (for a day or two), a Temporary Bus Pass may be available.
Obtaining a Temporary Bus Pass is requested through the school your child attends. Please call your child’s school.

Important Deadlines
Registration must be recieved by:
- JULY 29 - DEADLINE for busing on 1st day of school
- AUGUST 1-19 at noon - Busing will begin August 29.
- AUGUST 22-31 at noon - Busing will begin September 6.
Bus badge pick-up times:
Badge pick-up is only for students who will start riding on the first day of school or were registered AND paid by July 29. If registered after August 1, badges will be available for pick-up from CAO on August 22. All remaining badges will be sent to the school buildings for pick-up on August 25.
- TUESDAY, AUGUST 16 - 7:30 - 10:30 a.m.
- WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 17 - 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
- THURSDAY, AUGUST 18 - 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
- AFTER AUGUST 25 - Christy Hicks will send the remaining bus badges to the school buildings.
