
Class of 2038, Are You Ready?
The registration process should take approximately 15-20 minutes per student. It is recommended to collect the following information prior to beginning the online registration process.
Attention ECP families: students currently enrolled in the Early Childhood Preschool (ECP) program or students who are currently in its evaluation process do not need to register for kindergarten at this time, as students are already in the DPS system and will be promoted to kindergarten status accordingly. ECP families will receive an email to update registration forms in July.

Registration is a Three-Part Process
Part One: Pre-Register Online
Prereistration for the 2025-2026 school year is now open!
Please note that completing the enrollment process by April 15, 2025, is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to ensure a higher probability of your student attending their neighborhood boundary school. Due to capacity limitations and growing enrollment, those who delay registration may be placed in a different school.
- Your submission will be reviewed by Lisa Myran in Student Services. Once reviewed, you will receive an email.
- Please review the documents needed for registration and present them in-person, by email, or by fax.
- In August, you will receive additional information in regards to your PowerSchool Parent account and how to complete the online registration forms. This will take approximately 20-30 minutes.
- Students entering kindergarten MUST be five years old by July 31.
Pre-Registration
Part Two: Submit Enrollment Forms
You will need the following documents to register your student(s):
1. Birth certificate
2. Immunizations records
3. Primary proof of residency (ONE of the following)
- Home mortgage statement OR
- Builder’s agreement OR
- Purchase agreement OR
- Homeowners insurance policy OR
- Property tax statement OR
- Lease/rental agreement
4. Secondary proof of residence: (One of the following)
- Current gas, electricity or water bill OR
- Current phone, cable or Direct TV bill OR
- Department of Social Services documentation

Part Three: Complete Registration Forms on Powerschool in August
- Log into your Parent PowerSchool account and click the forms icon on the left side of the menu options.
- Complete and submit each form, the next form will automatically load after each submit.
Once all of the above steps are completed, your child is registered for the 2025-26 school year. Prior to the start of the school year, you can also use your PowerSchool Parent account to pay school fees online. If you have any questions, call 701-456-0002.
