The DPS Regional After School Program (RASP) has been awarded a $100,000 grant from JE Dunn Construction!
The surprise announcement came at Monday night's School Board meeting, where representatives from JE Dunn presented the check in person.
This generous grant will be used to:
- Implement new technology and academic supports
- Hire additional support staff to enhance programming and student engagement
- Provide free field trips for summer RASP families, ensuring every child has equal access to enrichment opportunities
The grant is part of JE Dunn's Cornerstone Campaign, which expands the company's annual giving by donating an additional $1 million+ each year to charities across the country. JE Dunn Construction said employees chose “access to safe and supportive spaces for kids in need” as the focus for the 2025 Cornerstone Campaign.
Organizations are selected by JE Dunn employees and vetted by the company's Community Impact Team and National Cornerstone Committee.
