DPS Foundation Awards $86,100 in Grants to Teachers

Today, Dickinson Public Schools Foundation surprised staff by awarding $86,100 in grant awards to enrich quality education and support various innovative projects designed to foster learning, inclusion, and career readiness in our schools.

Congratulations to the award recipients, and a BIG thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the DPS Foundation!

Here's a glimpse of the incredible grant awards distributed today:

  • Kristy Goodall – Project Hoodie School Pride ($3,750)
  • Beth Hurt – Adult Learning Center Student Computers ($7,000)
  • Mary Anne Meyerhoeffer – Social Emotional Well-Being ($2,411.96)
  • Marisa Riesinger – Specialized Library Collections for ELL Students ($36,000)
  • Emily Hoffman & Ann Berry – Augmented Reality for Literacy & Math ($6,275)
  • Austin Harper, Toril Burkhard, Whitney Hofer, Amanda Fisher, Ross Ascheman – Elementary Career Fair ($950)
  • Sherry Leavitt & Caroline Jepson – STEAM Carnival ($8,000)
  • Sarah Olson – Dickinson Dynamic Sound Children's Choir ($721.50)
  • Marisa Riesinger – ClassVR Headsets for Classrooms ($21,000)
