For Immediate Release - DPS $69M Referendum Passes
Voters in the Dickinson Public School District approved a $69 million bond request on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. With 3,554 votes cast, 2,510 voted in favor, while 1,044 voted against the referendum. Ballots will be officially canvassed at the next board meeting on Monday, November 6, 2023.
The Dickinson Public School Board and administration want to thank everyone who voted today. “I am humbled and honored by the support we received from our community. This is an exciting time, and we look forward to the positive impact this decision will have,” said Superintendent Dr. Marcus Lewton.
