Join us in congratulating the students who attended the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference on behalf of the Roughrider Area Career and Technical Center (RACTC). RACTC Skills USA members are part of the Health Science program at Dickinson High School.

Thirteen students competed in ten different health science-related contests:

  • Firefighting- First DHS Senior Dustin Gomez, Second DHS Senior Vy Bui, Third DHS Senior Rachel Thompson
  • Health knowledge bowl- First DHS Senior Dustie Dassinger, DHS Junior Brandon Tackett, DHS Sophomore McKenna Mettler
  • Pin design- First DHS Senior Dustie Dassinger, Second DHS Sophomore Grace Dvorak
  • CPR/ First Ad- First DHS Senior Charly Wyatt, Second DHS Senior Ethan Wilkie
  • Health Occupation Professional Portfolio- First DHS Senior Charly Wyatt
  • Job Interview- Second DHS Sophomore Jasmyn Galicia
  • Pin Design- First DHS Senior Dustie Dassinger, Second DHS Sophomore Grace Dvorak
  • Extemporaneous Speaking- Second DHS Senior Rachel Thompson
  • Medical Math- Third DHS Junior Brandon Tackett
  • 2 new sworn-in State Officers- DHS Sophomore Amarah Olheiser and DHS Junior Brandon Tackett.
  • RACTC received the Chapter of Excellence Award, the only chapter in the state to receive this award.
  • RACTS Skills USA advisors are Courtney Sadowsky, Jaclyn Guillaume, and Sara Rhode.
