DPS Staff Receive Two-Day Restorative Practices Training

Kelli Adams during the Restorative Practices training

Restorative Practices is intentional structured practices that build communities in schools and strategies to fix relationships in order to build and sustain positive school environments. On March 21st and 22nd, Kelli Adams from Restorative ND extended training for many of our schools' on Restorative Practices.

Our staff found that through the RTI @ Work model, Restorative Practices place student learning and achievement front and center in a systematic manner.

Over March's two-day training, staff moved from implementing practices systematically that support intensive needs to progressing plans that will support our students and staff this school year into the next. A big thank you to Kelli Adams for taking the time to provide our staff with this insightful training.
