BIG things are happening at the DPS North Campus, formally known as Halliburton, which will house the Southwest Area CTE Academy!
Building A, right along Hwy 22, renovation is on track to allow classes to begin moving in December. The demo, plumbing, and most of the electrical are complete, with the drywallers, HVAC, painters, and flooring still to be completed.
This building will house the health science program and some administrative offices. Dickinson High School health science classes are currently at the Middle School because of space constraints at the High School.
Building B and Building C are currently out for construction bids. Bid opening is November 23rd, and we are hopeful construction on these spaces can start in December. These buildings will house the following programs: diesel technology, culinary arts, construction, technology and engineering, heavy equipment, agriculture education, welding, and automotive, along with the DSU welding and diesel program.
