Last week, our Regional After School Program (RASP) students celebrated the regional afterschool program's 6th annual Lights on Afterschool Halloween party!
Governor Doug Burgum proclaimed October 20, 2022, as Lights on Afterschool Day in North Dakota, stating, "the citizens of North Dakota stand firmly committed to quality afterschool programs and opportunities to provide safe and engaging learning experiences for children, support working families, build stronger communities and engage families, schools and community partners in advancing the welfare of our children."
The students enjoyed many carnival games this year, including giant tic tac toe, human bowling, corn hole, and spider ring toss! The Halloween party included the haunted hall and served a hot dog dinner! All the kids left with A LOT of candy and big smiles on their faces!
