Career Technical Education (CTE) provides students with the academic and technical skills, knowledge, and training necessary to succeed in future careers and to become lifelong learners.
Today, Mr. Schmidt's Construction II class at Dickinson High School took hands-on learning to a new level.
Students got a chance to help pour a 62’x100’ concrete slab for a farm shop outside of Dickinson. Their experience gave them a look into setting forms, using a pump truck, bull floats, power screeds, hand troweling, and concrete additives.
