The Southwest Area Career & Technical Education Academy (SWACTEA) is the proud recipient of a $6️.6 Million-dollar Capital Projects grant from the North Dakota Department of Career & Technical Education! This project is a collaboration between Dickinson Public Schools, five regional high schools, and Dickinson State University.
The SWACTEA is still eligible for additional funds during the second round of the grant process.
The Career and Technical Education Capital Projects Fund is a grant opportunity, provided by the 67th Legislative Assembly, to increase access to Career and Technical Education by building new or expanding existing Career and Technical Education Centers. The source of the funds is a combination of $20 million of America Recovery Plan Act (ARPA) funds and $68,276,228 of the Coronavirus Capital Projects Fund.
