On behalf of Berg Elementary, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our generous sponsors, Axis Energy and the DPS Foundation, whose support truly reflects the spirit of giving and community partnership. Because of your generosity, our students had the opportunity to experience Gateway to Science through hands-on, engaging activities that sparked curiosity, joy, and a genuine excitement for learning. Experiences like these help bring classroom concepts to life and allow students to explore, question, and discover in meaningful ways.
Opportunities such as this play an important role in making school a place where students feel inspired and eager to attend. By creating positive, memorable learning experiences, we continue to support our efforts to improve attendance and foster a love of learning that extends beyond the classroom. Seeing our students engaged, smiling, and excited to participate was a powerful reminder of the impact community support can have on student success.
We are also deeply grateful for our Junior Honor Society students and Danielle Riesgraf, whose leadership, kindness, and willingness to serve helped bring this event to life. Their dedication and positive energy created a welcoming, encouraging environment for our younger students. Through their actions, they modeled responsibility, teamwork, and the importance of giving back, lessons that are just as valuable as the academic ones.
