Introducing the DPS SROs

SRO Sergeant Fridrich

By: Sergeant Justin Fridrich

The Dickinson Police Department would like to introduce our School Resource Officers (SROs) to the Dickinson Public Schools. SROs mentor, lead, and protect students by utilizing their training and experience as law enforcement officers. In addition to this, they act as law-related educators and informal counselors. They can be seen greeting students as they arrive at school, giving lectures throughout the day, and having lunch with groups of kids. SROs are a valuable part of the school community because of their perspective as law enforcement officers.
