On Saturday morning, November 6th, nineteen 7th and 8th-grade student council members from Dickinson Middle School got together to give DMS an exciting new addition. They came together bright and early to get to work moving three tons of rocks donated by Dickinson Ready Mix! Big shoutout to them! These kids had a blast lugging rocks and spray painting to make a colorful sign representing our school colors - blue 8th grade, green 7th grade, and orange 6th grade.
Many measurements were taken. This rock sign was not a spur-of-the-moment idea and took much planning and preparation, but darn, are we glad we did it. Now DMS’s new profound rock sign can be seen on the side of the hill just above the football field, giving our school extra school spirit! Watch out competitors of the Dickinson Midgets we are out to get you with our new bright rock sign.
