The Dickinson High School World Language department is excited to announce an adventure abroad. In July 2021, students and staff began making plans to visit Barcelona, Madrid, and Andalusia. The trip will take place on July 17, 2023, for eight days.
Student travelers will have an incredible life experience that will help build confidence and independence while exploring another country. Dickinson High School world language teachers recognize travel as a vital component of education that opens more opportunities for students to pursue higher education.
Travelers will tour and feast on local fare in the cities of Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, and Andalusia. The ancient architecture of the Alhambra and Alcazaba fortress will surely be life-changing. Currently, the trip has fifteen travelers enrolled, and more are welcome. The trip includes roundtrip airfare, room, and board, local guides & Busdriver, plus a once-in-a-lifetime experience. DHS students and families can still join the tour.
