Dickinson Summer FFA Highlights

The Dickinson FFA had an exciting and eventful summer. Following are the events our students participated in and their many achievements.

 

State Convention:

Victoria Moreno, who is currently the state FFA sentinel.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This year Victoria Moreno successfully ran for state officer. She is currently the state FFA sentinel.

We also had multiple winners in the state convention competition, including:

Gold individuals:

  • Isaac Binstock-Advanced Ag. Mechanics 
  • Victoria Moreno- Wildlife 
  • Kate Enny-Wildlife
  • Lea Nauman- Floriculture
  • Rylie Dohrmann- Meats
  • Leah Nauman- Small Animals

Wildlife

Range Camp:

Several members attended range camp this summer. Range camp helps you with range which is an FFA competition. The members were Rachel Tompson and Leah Namaun, who also won a scholarship of $250 for soil conservation.

Livestock Experience:

This year Rylie Dohrmann was able to compete under national livestock judge Ryan Rash in July 2021.
