Agriculture Education class
In conjunction with the Dept. of Welding, the Agricultural Education Dept. has been busy completing the “CTE full circle project.” CTE students built four “life-size” model horses using woodworking and welding skills. The life-size model horses MiG, TIG Splinter, and Sliver will be used as educational lab aids to teach equine students and local youth groups like 4H and girls scouts how to safely mount and dismount before learning how to ride a live horse. DHS students learn basic horsemanship skills in equine I and II.
