Dickinson Public Schools has been awarded a 5-year federal grant totaling $2,275,000 Million ($455,000 per year) to provide mental health services across the district from the School-Based Mental Health Grant Program.

DPS plans for the grant to support 5 additional positions across the district and for further development with school mental health providers. We know from stakeholders, district and county data, and our collaborating systems that the demand for student mental and behavioral health is a priority. This grant will support student and staff needs for our community.

Dickinson is home to amazing families and students that are served by the finest educators across all positions. We are grateful to the United States Department of Education for helping us continue to support the mental health of our students.
