Dear DPS Families,
Due to snow accumulation and poor road conditions, all schools will start one hour late tomorrow, Friday, October 27, to allow additional time for the city to clear roads and school areas.
Conditions may change, and we will continue to work with the city and county officials and communicate any changes for tomorrow by 6 a.m.
We understand that some areas are still difficult to travel. Please know we will work with our families who cannot get their child(ren) to school.

- All a.m. and p.m. rural bus routes are canceled.
- Residential bus routes will run an hour later than usual.
- Friday is an early release. Please note the school times below:
- 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. – Early Childhood (No afternoon class)
- 9:05 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Elementary Schools
- 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Dickinson Middle School
- 9:15 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Dickinson High School
