Jefferson Elementary is an HRS (Marzano Network) Level 2 Certified, 2021 Elementary school.

The experienced staff at Jefferson use a team approach to educate almost 400 students kindergarten through fifth grade. There are separate teachers for Physical Education, Music, Art, and one part-time Gifted and Talented teacher for qualifying students. In addition, Jefferson has a  full-time Counselor, Reading Coach, and Speech Therapist.

Dickinson Public Schools is a one-to-one district. Each student receives a personal device for the school year; an iPad for grades K-2 or a Chromebook for grades 3-5. Agreements are signed for care, use, and replacement policies by each student/caregivers.

The library has a collection of over 10,000 books that are available through a computerized checkout system.

Curriculum:

Dickinson Public Schools implements a research-based curriculum which incorporates the North Dakota Learning Standards. With the understanding of placement in the least restrictive environment for students, students are challenged to learn concepts using the following curriculum:
