I am a native of Dickinson, ND. I graduated from Minot State University in the winter of 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Special Education and Elementary Education as well as a minor in Deaf and Hard of Hearing. I finished my online Master’s Degree from Minot State University in the spring of 2014 with a Master of Science Degree in Autism Spectrum Disorders and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. I completed one year of special education resident teaching at Lincoln Elementary prior to joining the teaching staff at Heart River.

In my spare time, I like to participate in community events. I have helped out with Special Olympics since 2004. I was chosen to be a unified partner for volleyball in the 2010 National Games in Nebraska and the 2014 National Games in New Jersey. I also support Camp ReCreation, a summer camp for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This camp is held in Richardton, ND.  I am currently a board member of this camp. I also love playing volleyball and softball with my family and friends.
