New Interactive Playground

P.E and indoor recess just got a lot more exciting for students at Heart River Elementary!

Last week, Principal Muffley introduced the newly installed interactive playground to students and staff. Heart River is currently the FIRST SCHOOL in North Dakota with this exciting learning tool.

This innovative piece of technology immerses students in various exercises and activities focusing on healthy minds and bodies. In a school-wide assembly, students, staff, and special guests had a chance to experience the interactive playground and all it offers.

The Dickinson Public Schools Foundation contributed to the purchase by giving the school a grant of $10,000 through their annual teacher grant program. Students also helped reach their funding goal by holding a chocolate fundraiser.
