Congratulations to our TechRise Student Challenge winners from Dickinson High School!

We are proud to announce they are one of sixty winning teams across the nation selected for the 2025–2026 TechRise Student Challenge from NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

Today, students unboxed their winner’s starter kit, which includes a flight box and materials they will use to build their science and technology experiment.

As part of their project, students are designing an experiment to collect data during a Virgin Galactic suborbital flight, where it will experience approximately three minutes of microgravity and allow them to study the accelerations and conditions of spaceflight.

The winning team members include:

  • Addison Grayson
  • Kina Lee
  • Elijah Ricks
  • Gabe Ricks
  • Radheeka Weeraratne
  • Advisor: Mrs. Kensinger

The students will meet with the NASA TechRise team for the next 18 weeks as they prepare their project!
