In late 2020, Dickinson Public Schools purchased the Halliburton complex with a vision for a Career and technical education space. The vision is now a reality thanks to the support from the city, county, and state officials, seven area schools, and private partners.
The Southwest Area CTE Academy officially opened its doors yesterday and began classes in Building A. Building A houses the RACTC Health Sciences and administrative offices.
