DHS is going to be hosting a Career Academy Expo for our students. Our objective to the Academy Career expo is to expose our students to the kind of educational programming that is available here at DHS. It also serves as an opportunity to showcase how the school and the community are working together to promote “High Wage, High Skill, High Demand” jobs that are in the Dickinson community and surrounding area.
Currently 24 businesses and 8 colleges are partnering with the DHS Academies to show our students how programming at the high school level could lead to a great career right here in our community for our students.
The Career Academy Expo will be held December 21 from 8:00am to 3:00pm in the DHS gyms for our students. Parents and community members are welcome to walk through the expo and experience the same information the students will receive.
