The North Dakota Association of Elementary School Principals selected Tammy Peterson, Principal at Lincoln Elementary as the Region 8 Principal of the Year! Mrs. Peterson was then chosen as one of five candidates for the North Dakota Distinguished Principal Award.
The National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) holds the National Distinguished Principal® (NDP) program, which honors outstanding elementary and middle-level principals. Established in 1984, the program recognizes principals who set high standards for instruction, student achievement, character, and climate for the students, families, and staff in their learning communities.
