National History Day

Students presenting for National History Day

Dickinson Middle School students presented their project entries for National History Day at the Dickinson Museum Center.

Each year, National History Day frames students' research within a historical theme. The 2021-2022 theme is Debate & Diplomacy in History: Successes, Failures, Consequences. Students presented a variety of diverse projects in hopes of qualifying for the regional competition. From the Treaty of Versailles to the 1984 Olympics, projects highlighted different examples of debate and diplomacy throughout history.
