For the 20th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, Dickinson Middle School honored the victims with a walk of remembrance and a museum titled the Hallway of Heroes.

Today, students walked 2,996 feet to honor all the victims, and teachers took 2,996 stair steps. This walk of remembrance aims to reflect, honor, and pay tribute to the victims' sacrifices.

DMS 8th grade students are writing biographies of heroes and will create a Hallway of Heroes gallery that will be on display September 17th-24th. The goal is for students to honor the brave heroes from the September 11 attacks or someone who embodies the National Day of Service and Remembrance.

Please take a moment of silence for all the men and women who have sacrificed their lives for freedom.
