DMS 7th grade History teacher Mitch Meier, and a group of about 35 students and 14 parents are on the trip of a lifetime visiting Washington DC. The group left Minneapolis and arrived in Washington DC on day 1 of the trip, and they have already seen so many sites. The World War II Memorial, Washington Monument, Smithsonian Museum of American History, Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, FDR Memorial, & Thomas Jefferson Memorial. DMS 6th graders will receive information on how they can be part of a trip like this as 7th graders.
