Outside Coat Rules

Mittens holding a Snowflake Image

Now that it is getting colder outside, students should be prepared daily for cold weather situations.  Proper attire includes a warm coat, mittens/gloves and a head covering.  During snowy and windy conditions snow boots and snow pants must be worn.  District winter weather guidelines state the students will not be sent outside for recess when the wind chill or temperature reaches -10 degrees F according to the www.weatherchannel.com

*Please note that if your child wants to play in the snow, snow pants and snow boats are required.*
