Weather Guidelines

When temperatures are lower than 50 degrees students are expected to bring jackets. |

* Parents - Please check that your student has weather-appropriate caps, gloves and coats when they come to school each morning. |

Before School |
||
|
When the temperature and/or windchill are above zero, students will be sent outside. When the temperature and/or windchill are between zero and -10 degrees, students will be sent to the gym until 8:10 and then will be sent outside. When the temperature and/or windchill are lower than -10, students will be sent to the gym. |

Noon Recess |
||
|
When the temperature and/or windchill are above zero, students will be sent outside. When the temperature and/or windchill are between zero and -10 degrees, students will be sent outside for 15 minutes of recess. When the temperature and/or windchill are lower than -10, students will be sent to their classrooms. |

Short Recess |
||
When the temperature and/or windchill are above -10 degrees, students will be sent outside for the short recess. |
