Don't miss the first Dickinson High Midgets vs the Trinity High School Titans Alumni Basketball Game on Saturday, November 25 at 2 p.m. in the DHS gymnasium! The Dickinson Public Schools Foundation and the Dickinson Catholic Schools Foundation are partnering to sponsor the Alumni Basketball game. The intent is to raise money for a great cause, provide a fun afternoon of entertainment and a meeting place for people that are home for Thanksgiving.“We are in the planning stages and hope the Alumni Basketball game will become an annual fundraising event to raise money for our endowment fund.” said Jay Bleth, DPS Foundation president. Coaches and players will be finalized in the next few weeks. The game should be very competitive. Both schools plan to “put the best team on the floor.” Tentative plans include: introducing the 2006 DHS and THS basketball players, a Skills Competition (3 point shooting contest), entertainment, GREAT food and more!!!
